Aluminium Doors for Auckland Homes
Entrance, bifold, sliding and stacker, French, hinge and security doors. We design, manufacture and install every one of them ourselves, so we can guarantee the quality.
Choose the Door for the Opening
A front door has a different job from a door onto the deck. Each type below has its own page with what it does well, the options and the questions we are asked about it.

Entrance Doors
Classic and Contemporary ranges in any Dulux colour or a woodgrain finish, with multipoint locking and smart lock options. Explore
Bifold Doors
Open a whole wall onto the deck. Bottom-rolling panels fold to 90 degrees or right back against the cladding, in almost any configuration. Explore
Sliding & Stacker Doors
Smooth, space-saving and secure. The right door for high-traffic openings where a swinging door would be in the way. Explore
French Doors
A traditional pair of hinged doors with unlimited window combinations, optional sidelights and the full colour range. Explore
Hinge Doors
Single or double hinged doors in custom sizes, glazed, solid or part-glazed, opening inward or outward to suit the house. Explore
Security Doors
Diamond grille, mesh and SecureView steel mesh doors that protect the opening without giving up the view or the breeze. ExploreWhy Aluminium Doors
Aluminium doors combine durability with modern style, which is why they are the first choice for New Zealand homes and businesses. Built to withstand the test of time, they are resistant to corrosion, need minimal maintenance, and keep their sleek appearance for decades. A slim aluminium frame carries a large double-glazed panel without sagging, so a sliding or bifold door can be almost all glass, and a powder coated finish stays looking new with nothing more than a regular wash.
Every NuStyle door is made to measure in our Papatoetoe factory and installed by our own team, with two-point locking as standard and four-point locking available. It is covered by our 5-year guarantee.
Opening the House to the Outside
The big decision on most projects is how the living area meets the deck. A bifold door opens the whole wall and brings the outside in; a sliding or stacker door gives a wide, easy opening with no swing space needed and panels that never intrude on a walkway; a French door suits a traditional home and a smaller opening; and a hinge door is the everyday door to the garage, the side of the house or a bathroom off a bedroom. We have been supplying and fitting our range of bifold doors for many years and believe they offer the best combination of elegance, innovation, engineering, security and value on the New Zealand market.
The Front Door
An aluminium entrance door sets the tone of the house from the street. Our 2025 collection has a Classic range of symmetrical panel designs and a Contemporary range with bold layouts and glazed inserts, in any Dulux colour or one of eight woodgrain finishes, with hardware from a traditional lever and deadbolt through to a keypad or app-controlled smart lock.
Security Without Losing the View
A security door fitted over a sliding or hinged door lets you leave the main door open for air with the house secure. Diamond grille, mesh and SecureView stainless steel mesh are all available.
Glass, Hardware and Colour
Every door has the option of double or single glazing, with Low E, laminated safety or obscure glass to suit. Handles and locks are on the hardware page, and our standard Dulux colours, anodised finishes and the woodgrains are on the colours page. Standard or thermally broken frames are available across the range. As an authorised OMEGA fabricator we build on tested door systems whose building product information is published for consent.

Aluminium Door Questions
Bifold, sliding or stacker: which is best for a deck?
Bifold if you want the whole opening clear and do not mind the panels stacking at one end. Sliding or stacker if you want a wide opening with panels that stay in the wall line and no swing space needed. Stacker doors slide several panels behind one, so they open wider than a two-panel slider.
What locking comes standard?
Two-point locking as standard, as an extra security measure, with single and four-point options available. Entrance doors can be key both sides, key outside and turn inside, or turn only inside. Details on the hardware page.
Can a door have a flush track?
On a sliding door, yes: there are flush and level step track options, and we will talk through which suits your opening at the measure. Hinge doors have a sill, because a sill is required for weathertightness.
How long until my doors are installed?
Lead times are usually 4 to 6 weeks, but they vary with the size of the job and how busy the factory is, so talk to the friendly staff at NuStyle for an accurate idea of current lead times for your job. Installation also depends on the weather, because we will not open up your home in bad weather.
Glass, Hardware, Colour and Thermal Performance
The frame is only part of the decision. The glass decides how warm and quiet the room is, the hardware how it works every day, and the colour how it looks from the street.
