From the Plans to the Programme

The joinery schedule on a new home is a long list: every window and door, its size, its type, which way it opens, the glass, the colour and the hardware. We take that list off the plans, price it, and send back a quote you and your builder can read line by line. Where the plans leave something open (which rooms get thermally broken frames, where the opening sash goes, whether the kitchen gets a bifold servery), we talk it through with you so the joinery suits the way you will live in the house, not just the drawing.

Once the frame is up, our installer measures every opening on site and the joinery is made to those sizes in our Papatoetoe factory. Or we can agree on sizes up front and your builder can frame to suit, which reduces lead times. We deliver to site and your builder installs, or our own team installs if you prefer; either way the frames arrive together, labelled by room. Meeting H1 and the Consent Conditions

New homes have to meet the Building Code's H1 energy efficiency requirements, which set the thermal performance the windows must reach. We specify the glazing and frames to the H1 pathway your designer has chosen, and as an authorised OMEGA fabricator we can supply the product information and performance data councils ask for at consent.

Renovations and Extensions
